LES TERRES ROUGES is a demonstration Carignan is an exciting grape. Often used in the past to produce wines of poor quality, this grape variety can give interesting wines: complex, rich and elegant.
On this nice terroir, old vins give low yields.
Cold microclimate with fresh nights permit to obtain great phenolic maturity. Carignan keep some of its rustic type with more fineness and elegance.
Still racy.

Mediterranean climate moderated by altitude and proximity of Montagne Noire
